Islamabad, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th Mar, 2026) The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Friday released 88,500 cusecs of water from various rim stations with a flow of 35,400 cusecs.
According to data released by IRSA, the water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam reached 1,464.90 feet which is 64.90 feet higher than the dead level of 1,402.00 feet. The inflow and outflow of water in the dam was recorded at 14,600 cusecs and 40,000 cusecs respectively.
The water level in Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1,159.
80 feet, which is 109.80 feet above its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water were recorded as 8,300 cusecs and 36,000 cusecs respectively.
Water release in Kalabagh, Tunsa, Gudu and Socor They were recorded at 37,100, 26,000, 36,300 and 21,100 kosex respectively.
Similarly, from Kabul River, a total of 6,100 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera, and 0 cusecs of water was released from Chenab River at Marala.
