Hyderabad, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th Mar, 2026) An alleged motorcycle kidnapper was shot and injured before being arrested in a police encounter that took place on Tando Fazal Link Road in the limits of Husari Police Station here on Friday.
Police spokesman Inspector Shahid Usman said that two suspected outlaws riding a motorcycle clashed with policemen in an exchange of gunfire during which Waqar Dhoot was shot in the leg while his accomplice fled.
He added that Dahut was taken to Liaquat University Hospital for surgery on his wound.
Usman claimed that the suspect was involved in motorcycle snatching crimes and that he has been booked in at least 10 FIRs.
According to him, Dahut was also involved in some recent kidnapping incidents in Hasari town.
