Sialkot (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th March, 2026) Syed Ehtesham Mazhar, Chairman, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), along with Sheikh Amir Mahmood, Executive Committee Member, SCCI, and Brigadier Dr Shahid, Medical Specialist, Imran Idris Hospital, Sialkot, visited the Mineral Industries Development Center (MIDC) and the Institute of Surgical Technology (IST) in Sialkot.
The delegation visited all MIDC workshops and learned about Common Facilities Services (CFS).
The delegation observed the work processes of all machines in the comprehensive machine shop, the blacksmith shop, the CBHT vacuum heat treatment shop, and the welding shop.
The delegation also visited all the classrooms at IST Sialkot, where they interacted with the students and appreciated their educational activities.
Ehtesham Mazhar expressed his support on behalf of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to roll out MIDC shared facility services to all industries in Sialkot to promote the use of MIDC and enhance cooperation between industry and enterprises.
