Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited different areas of Pakistan Federalism DC to review the overall law and order situation and security arrangements.
IGP Rizvi met police officers and personnel deployed on security duties and ordered them to remain alert while discharging their responsibilities, an official told APP on Friday.
IGP Rizvi appreciated the dedication of the officers and encouraged them to continue discharging their duties with commitment and professionalism.
IGP Rizvi said he was proud of the brave and dedicated Islamabad Police personnel who were discharging their duties with courage and determination.
He added that police patrols and operations teams remain on high alert throughout the city to ensure peace and security.
The IGP reiterated that law and order will be maintained at all costs and strict action will be taken against anyone involved in mischief or violation of the law.
He said that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands, urging citizens to cooperate with the police and avoid becoming part of any illegal activity.
