Sukkur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th March, 2026) The district administration, police and rangers have decided to provide foolproof security across the district on the occasion of the upcoming Hazrat Ali (may God be pleased with him) Martyrdom Day.
A meeting was held at Sachal Sarmast Hall in the office of Deputy Commissioner Khairpur under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Altaf Ahmad Chachar on Friday.
The meeting stressed maintaining law and order, strengthening coordination between institutions and taking action against individuals who spread hatred on social media. The administration assured the representatives of the various schools of thought that all arrangements would be completed in due course.
SSP Dr Samihullah Soomro said the police would implement effective security measures under a comprehensive emergency plan. He appealed to citizens, religious leaders and community representatives to cooperate with the district administration and police to maintain peace and promote religious tolerance.
The meeting was attended by officials from various departments, including ADC-II Abdul Hakim Dharejo, DHO, ADHO Dr. Shahid Khaskhali, and representatives of different schools of thought.
