Karachi (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in KarachiAkbar Issa Zadeh said on Friday that Iran has the full legal and diplomatic right to defend its national sovereignty. He accused the United States of conducting negotiations through friendly countries while at the same time deploying naval fleets in the region.
He expressed these views during his conversation with media representatives who visited the Iranian Consulate to offer condolences on the martyrdom of the comrades of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Consul General said that the United States and Israel carried out a unilateral attack on Iran in disregard of international laws. It was claimed that the aggression led to the martyrdom of many innocent civilians, including 168 children.
In response to a question, he stated that this is the second time that Iran has been subjected to a surprise attack.
He stressed that Iran will continue the war until its goals are achieved, and stressed that Iran considers it has the right to target American and Israeli assets wherever they are located.
He further claimed that the US and Israel also targeted innocent civilians. He added that the enemy’s goal is to divide the Islamic world, but Islamic countries must show unity and solidarity.
In response to another question, he said that the war has been going on for eight days, adding that the United States and Israel “have seized control of the media narrative.”
The Consul General expressed his appreciation Pakistan For his support of the Iranian position and his condemnation of the aggression. He also thanked Pakistani religious scholars and people from different walks of life who spoke in support of Iran, saying the marches in Pakistan boosted the morale of the Iranian people.
