Rawalpindi, March 6, 2026 – The Anti-Narcotics Force has arrested six suspects, including a woman, and seized 20 kilograms of drugs worth over Rs 2.4 million during seven operations carried out around educational institutions and in various cities across the country, an Anti-Narcotics Force spokesman said on Friday.

He said that Al-Nusra Front recovered one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine known as “ice” from one of the suspects near Haji Shah Mor in the Attock district during an operation targeting drug supplies near educational institutions. The suspect later admitted to selling drugs to students.

In other operations, Jabhat al-Nusra found 7.2 kilograms of hashish inside an autorickshaw that was intercepted near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza in Attock and immediately arrested the accused.

Separately, 4 kg of ice was recovered from one of the suspects near a hotel in Lakbadhar area of ​​Jhang.

In comparison, 3 kilograms of hashish were seized from an auto rickshaw near Sohrab Goth KarachiWhich led to the arrest of another suspect.

In another operation near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, Attock, Al-Nusra Front recovered 2.4 kilograms of hashish from a car and arrested the accused.

In a separate operation at the same toll plaza, officials found 1.2 kilograms of hashish on a woman who was traveling in a passenger truck.

On the other hand, Al-Nusra Front found 1.2 kilograms of hashish hidden in an electric stove at a express post office on the ring road in Peshawar.

The spokesman added that cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Law of 1997 and investigations are still ongoing.
