Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) organized the second session of the weekly Sairat lecture series, which was attended by a large number of students and university staff.
The session focused on moral excellence and the social aspects of good biography (the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace), while highlighting the importance of moral values in the contemporary context.
The famous scholar Dr. Hafez Tahir Islam He delivered the main lecture on the topic “Good biography and ideal social personality.”
In his speech, he stated that the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) stands as a shining moral beacon, providing timeless guidance to individuals to improve their personal and collective lives.
Dr. Tahir Islam emphasized that the Holy Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) showed exceptional tolerance and kindness even toward his opponents, supported the oppressed, uplifted the weak, and established wonderful examples of justice and equality that continue to guide humanity.
He further noted that in today’s world, where societies face challenges such as social unrest, intolerance and moral decline, drawing guidance from good conduct has become more important than ever.
The weekly sessions are organized jointly by the Central Bank library And college Arab and Islamic Studies at AIOU. These sessions provide an academic and intellectual platform to discuss various aspects of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace).
