ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday approved a number of draft laws passed by Parliament and approved several related summaries, according to a statement issued by the President’s Secretariat.
Among the approved legislation is the Virtual Assets Bill of 2026; Islamabad Capital Territory Senior Citizens (Amendment) Bill, 2026; Privatization Commission (Amendment) Bill 2026; Cannabis Control and Regulation Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026; and NAB (Amendment) Bill, 2026, Presidency Bill news He said release.
The President also approved amendments to the law Federalism Constitutional Court Judges (Leaves, Pensions and Benefits) Order, 2025.
In addition, he supported the reconstitution of the Islamabad Sub-Judicial Service Tribunal.
Moreover, President Zardari approved the establishment of subsidiary registries of the Federal Constitutional Court Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.
