Abu Dhabi, 5 March / WAM / The Mohammed bin Zayed Council organized a session to explore the lasting legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, focusing on his philosophy based on cooperation, dialogue and comprehensive leadership.
The course, entitled “Lessons of the Founding Father in Cooperation,” was held at the Council’s headquarters in Abu DhabiSheikh Zayed Grand mosque – It was attended by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed Charity Foundation, along with a number of senior officials and guests.

The session was moderated by Najla Al Midfa, a researcher at Trends Research & Advisory.
Drawing on his extensive experience working with United Arab EmiratesThe founding father, His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh, shared personal memories of Sheikh Zayed’s role in laying the foundations of the country’s international relations during its formative years. He noted how Sheikh Zayed sought to establish balanced partnerships not based on personal relationships alone, but on common interests, mutual respect, and human values - an approach that helped secure regional stability, build lasting international relations, and strengthen international relations. Further insights were presented in a pre-recorded segment featuring His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh and Professor Horacio Falcao, Professor of Management Practices at INSEAD, which highlighted Sheikh Zayed’s patience and skill in steering the dialogue towards consensus.
