Attock (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th March, 2026) In a powerful gesture of unity and restraint, the Hindu community of Attock Cantt on Wednesday celebrated Holi at Valmiki Mandir with remarkable simplicity and quiet dignity. Although the festival is traditionally associated with vibrant colors and joyful gatherings, this year the community chose to celebrate this occasion in a humble and respectful way.

Pandit Sarwan Kumar, after extensive consultations with community members, unanimously decided that the celebrations would be conducted in a simple but spiritually satisfying manner.

Moreover, he confirmed in a video message to the Associated Press Pakistan (APP) said that while Holi is usually observed with enthusiasm and liveliness, the community deliberately chose restraint this time.

As a result, religious rituals were performed peacefully and respectfully, highlighting both devotion and discipline.

Moreover, Pandit Sarwan Kumar stated that besides fulfilling their sacred obligations, the safety and prosperity of Pakistan remained equally important to them. He proudly noted that people of all religions in the country are allowed to celebrate their religious holidays freely and safely.
