Lahore, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5 April, 2026) CID Investigator Syed Zeeshan Raza held a warrant room in his office where 15 show cause notices were served.
20 appeals were reviewed.
According to the spokesman, the General Investigation Department issued orders demoting Muhammad Tahir Khan from the position of inspector to the position of sub-inspector for exceeding his powers.
Meanwhile, 14 officers and employees were awarded various penalties for not responding satisfactorily to show cause notices, while the appeals of 16 officials were allowed.
